I don’t get how restricting voting is being treated as more urgent than the actual crises people are protesting about.

If that’s accurate, it’s hard to see this as anything but voter suppression. Ending online and mail-in registration would hit a lot of legitimate voters.

That’s exactly what worries me. Limiting registration methods doesn’t protect elections...it just makes it harder for eligible people to vote. That’s a serious problem.
