Sounds like a slippery slope to me. Once dogs are allowed in the polling station, how long before they are running for office?

Don't think it would make much difference to be honest. Why would murdering Colombian fishermen have any greater political blowback than murdering Afghani wedding guests? It has now been US policy for 20+ years to indiscriminately bomb "suspected terrorists" defined on the flimsiest of pretexts.
