Then those three folders will populate with various backups (some at startup/closedown and some at intervals etc) BUT it doesn't make a hojillion so no need to worry about gunking up your machine with infinite backups, but it does give you a MUCH better fighting chance of recovering stuff!

File > Preferences > File (again, confusingly enough) lets you enable canvas recoveries, and set recovery data times! 15 minutes might be a bit excessive but in a pinch it means if there's a power cut or I mis-save something I only lose 15 minutes of work max. Handy!

If you did it in clip go to your PC > Documents >Celsys > ClipStudioPaintData and have a look in the three folders there you might find a backup version if you're lucky! (and if not set your preferences to save more frequent backups for next time!)

I don't think I ever got that far as a kid. I didn't have a C64/Speccy so I had to play it at a friend of my nans whenever the stars aligned. That shark jump/drawbridge/well right off the bat is a definite education in timing though, especially having to jump by angling the joystick!

I told no lies! I started the game by jumping the shark. Then I just made a deal with the devil and traded him a ton of diamonds and murdered a wizard just sos I could go home. Something very bri'ish about the fact the wizard isn't 'defeated' or 'destroyed'. No he's dead. Stone cold dead. Hooray!
