#1: Let them trade

I really enjoyed this one. a charming "board game" all about setting up towns and having them trade with eachother trying to earn as much money to finance the kings wimsy projects.

I really enjoyed this one and getting numbers to go up is always satisfying.

I like playing it in short bursts when I have a small window.
I do really like how you can also adjust the idle mode from getting you everything to just being a wallpaper mode

I picked it up the other day! Very chill game and the style is gorgeous

Not me. But i have the game since release. It has its flaws but I found it rather charming and a fun game to play

I hope to finish clair obscure this year still. Then I got 2 games already going for the 2026 backlog. And got a couple on steam already in the list

thats fair, I tried the og a couple times. after the midgar section my interest usually drops.

and to be honest, cloud is a rather boring protagonist at the start

interesting, what made it not click?

the main example I found was one of those big pillars with newspapers stuck to it. the newspapers were AI with weird text and pictures, which then got replaced later.

from what I can find they used genAI for placeholder textures during development and a couple days after release.

Those have since all been replaced by human made textures

the main discussion thats been had about it was about the lack of transparency on the usage of AI for the placeholders
