These are officials, scientists & engineers with decades of expertise sought after by private sector companies. They partner with private corps on projects & have them on speed dial so most immediately had better offers. The time & money to rebuild this expertise leaves us less safe.

And this incompetence has dire costs to Americans. These officials, engineers & scientists are highly sought after individuals & likely snatched up immediately by private sector. To replace their decades of expertise will take time we don't have & $$$. This made us FAR less safe.

Tiktok is a critical community for isolated groups (chronic illness, neurodivergent, abuse survivors) plus, for many, a source of income. It is more than entertainment for many people who, otherwise, have very little community or safety net.
