Information on child/partner psychological abuse in family courts and importance of protecting relationships with good enough parents/family.
There is a difference between listening to a child's voice and understanding what it means.

If you're in family court, one parent is psychologically controlling/abusive.

The 2 variants of the family court pathology are:

Borderline-mom variant (Vulnerable Dark Triad): higher anxiety & false allegations, may induce a "father phobia" for secondary gain

Narcissistic-dad variant (Dark Triad/Tetrad): higher anger & hostility; spousal abuse using the child as the weapon

Yes because Cafcass listen to the voice of the child, instead of looking for signs of psychological control. The believed her when she said her mother was a threat and her father/step mother were not. The issue is family courts lack the right assessments, professionals & treatment plans.

Nothing to do with starving social work of funds. Everything to do with not having the right professionals and assessments in place.

If you're in family court one parent, rarely both is pathological.

Over 33% of parents in court have a highly maladaptive attachment style.

It's hard enough for parents with one child to deal with a single school, however, many parents have multiple children of different ages and so face difficulty getting information out of multiple schools. Imagine what that is like.

Listening to the voice of the child is one thing, but we risk making children decision makers, and when you're dealing with a psychologically controlling parent, that is the voice you hear. Proper assessment will help courts find those cases.

Every family in court, particularly one that has a child rejecting a parent, requires proper assessment, treatment plan, and monitoring.

Family courts want to offer colleagues, parents, and children any protection at all, they will reform the system with the support of mental health.

Allowing reporters is one thing, but you can't guarantee they won't cherry-pick cases to only talk about issues they want to highlight.

Some will say courts can't be open because they have to protect children's ID. I doubt that there is one parent who hasn't spoken about their case to anyone. Traumatised people tell their story because it's a way of the brain being able to process and seek help. Unrealistic to expect otherwise.

Things won't be transparent until every courtroom is open to the public, every decision made by a judge is tracked, every intervention and outcome is monitored over time.

The UK like the US, will regress and everything women fought for, to get psychological abuse recognised, will be reversed as they seek to claim it doesn't happen to children.

There are 4 kinds of abuse and psychological abuse is as damaging to a child as sexual/physical abuse - proven fact.

Labour will push to remove dads from their kids' lives based solely on allegations of DA through removal of the presumption of parental involvement in Child Arrangements within private law cases.
