Bernie Sanders spoke at Omaha Marriott, starting his "Stop Oligarchy" tour. Post-2024 election, it felt like a Democratic rally. He pushed unions, hit Trump’s billionaire ties (e.g., Musk), and urged calling Rep. Bacon to block a budget bill needing two GOP defectors to fail.

I'm at the Downtown Omaha Marriott to see Bernie Sanders tonight. Not a bad crowd, considering the doors don't officially open for another 20 minutes.

Bernie Sanders will be visiting Omaha on Friday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 PM as part of his "figuring oligarchy" tour. The event will be held at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District in Omaha in the Capitol Ballroom on the 2nd Floor.

I got to hear from Mike McDonnell and John Ewing, both candidates for Mayor of Omaha, at the Free Speech Society on this snowy, Saturday morning.

Among the topics discussed were affordable housing, public safety, public transit, and (of course) the streetcar project.
