Oh sick! I was just talking to a coworker about how the ending of Season 1 hits a bit differently without a second season confirmed.

There are no humans in the film but it's set in the far future. Weyland-Yutani are featured prominently on an alien planet.

Sadly I'm equally convinced they're just that stupid.

For all it's faults, AVP had some really cool Predator moments; this gearing up scene, the wrestling match with Grid, and turning a Xeno corpse into a sword and spear.
