I've watched him since he had 30K subs on and off through the years. Seeing him still be around, trying new things, and working hard to achieve his goals has been great.
Also a bonus that while his content appealed to a young audience, he didn't take advantage of any of them.

The answer is yes, because it's usually easier and more profitable to do things that only benefit yourself and no one else to begin with. Choosing to do things to benefit others if only to benefit yourself is still a choice against selfishness.

House Elves and the Weasleys seem to both be an amalgam of "oh, look how cutely innocent and stupid they are" combined with "ugh but look at how much they BREED" and a dash of "slave labor and living conditions is what they DESERVE".

Pretty sure they love the world of that series, but have fallen out of love of the author herself.
It's quite the magical experience when you're too young to understand all the problematic elements she crammed into her stories. Less so when you are aware enough to notice them.

That's valid and I understand. Not saying she's immune to criticism or consequences for bad behavior. She's definitely worthy of a lot right now and her being a victim of her sibling doesn't make her immune. It just reframes the whys on her choices to be a little less selfish and more instinct based
