Conventional view: I pay money and I get bread or milk in return.
Extraction view: I can use bread and milk to extract money from that person.

There are just over 5 million people in New Zealand. If one extracts $1 from each, they get $5 million.
There are 342 million Americans. For $5 million that would be 1.46 cents per person.

The Extraction "free" website costs:
1. Time. The creator had to type in the information and use the tools.
2. The bank pays for the app and the cost of any transactions.
3. The website provider payed for the website.

You pay what you pay, and the shop, utility, landlord, etc. charges what they charge, but it can be viewed in different ways. One way is extraction.
