As indie hackers, we need to focus on this:
Why? Know the reason you’re building.
What? Define the smallest thing worth shipping.
How? Launch fast, get feedback, iterate. 🚀

Stop chasing perfection. Ship it, learn fast, and improve. Products grow by feedback, not by waiting. 🚀

What happened if ai disappear overnight ??

Before you go viral, go valuable.
One person saying "this helped me" > 10 likes.

Prove the product quietly.
Then scale loudly.

AI LLM integration is the next gold rush. Every tool will have an 'AI inside' badge.
If you're building in 2025, think:
✅ Embed AI in workflows
✅ Multi-model orchestration
✅ Cost optimization layers
The winners? Those who integrate, not just innovate.

I learned the hard way: never blindly trust coding agents.
I connected one to improve my backend code it rewrote everything confidently.
Looked clean. Sounded smart.
But when I ran it? Nothing worked. Everything was broken.
AI is a tool, not a shortcut. Always double-check. ⚠️💻

Most solo founders don’t need a co-founder. They need discipline, not a partner.

Are most "build in public" indie hackers actually building anything, or just tweeting to look busy?

Where’s the roadmap, revenue, churn, and real lessons?

Or is it just marketing dressed as transparency?

🚨 Underrated startup hack:
Build → Share → Wait for replies → Ship what they hint at, not just what they say.

Silent replies = weak signal
Excited replies = gold

How long did it take you to get your first paying user — and what worked?
Curious how others did it.

What’s one thing you believed about building a product that turned out completely wrong
August 3, 2025 at 5:22 PM
I used to obsess over UI polish.
Now I obsess over:
– Why did the user bounce?
– What made them stay 4x longer?
– Did they come back?

Pretty pixels don’t matter if the core value isn’t clear.

No one talks about how lonely solo-building can get.
You’re designing, coding, debugging, marketing — all alone.

But when that one user says “this helped me”…
Man, it hits different.

If you only had 30 days to build & launch something that makes money —
What would you cut?
What would you keep?

Genuinely curious how others decide.

I built Zinkmail to clean up inbox chaos.

This morning, it summarized 24 hrs of email perfectly — categorized, prioritized, and clear.

I never imagined it would work this well.

Building your own tool and getting surprised by it?
Unreal feeling. 💥

Racing to launch in 30 days?

Clarity > Everything.

I ask :
👉 What’s the ONE thing users really want?
👉 What hurts enough that they’d pay to fix?
👉 What’s the smallest version to prove it works?
Validate first. Polish later. Ship fast. 🚀

Been fine-tuning the Zinkmail backend to cut down AI hallucinations.

Turns out batching emails + clear system prompts = way smarter summaries.

Built it solo. No fancy tools, just lots of debugging and whiteboard sketches.

Summary quality? Up 60%. Costs? Down.

Not perfect — but it’s real.
August 2, 2025 at 4:51 AM
Whiteboard sketches aren’t always pretty, but they work.
Solo-building Zinkmail — an AI email assistant
Gmail API, Firebase triggers, LangChain — all stitched together from scratch
No VC. No team. Just a messy drawing, caffeine, and a working backend
What are you hacking on this week?

Some days I’m deep in code.
Other days I’m just writing copy or thinking about onboarding.
Solo building is a weird mix 😅

Still chipping away at Zinkmail.

What are you working on this week?

🧵 Being a solo founder = wearing 5 hats a day:

Dev

Designer

Marketer

Support

Therapist (for myself 😅)

Today I was stuck switching between Firebase bugs and landing page copy.

How do you manage context switching as a builder? 👇
