This is Alice's friend Sandy Ho, posting. Per Alice's wishes, this message is being shared at the time of her passing. Hi everyone, it looks like I ran out of time. I have so many dreams that I wanted to fulfill and plans to create new stories for you. There are a few in progress that might come to fruition in a few years if things work out. I did not ever imagine I would live to this age and end up a writer, editor, activist, and more. As a kid riddled with insecurity and internalized ableism, I could not see a path forward. It was thanks to friendships and some great teachers who believed in me that I was able to fight my way out of miserable situations into a place where I finally felt comfortable in my skin. We need more stories about us and our culture. You all, we all, deserve the everything and more in such a hostile, ableist environment. Our wisdom is inclusive and unflinching. I'm honored to be your ancestor and believe disabled oracles like us will light the way to the future. Don't let the bastards grind you down. I love you all.

So my hair is
accidentally rose gold
and I love it.
Rieve in a black tank top from the shoulders up. The tank top is black with round spots of colour. Rieve's hair comes to just above their ears and the front bits are crimped. Their hair is rose gold coloured. Their eyes are made up in a shimmering pink copper under a warm light gold streak with fluorescent pink at both corners of each eye. One eye has a star stamped in black at the outside corner and both sides as well as their chest and hair are glimmering with glory glitter. A silver chain hangs delicately around their neck. They seem happy and shyly confident.

Gave myself a temp tattoo yesterday and it came out pretty faint but that was okay. With so many younger siblings and my own child I've done lots of these, so I figured I know everything about them.

I guess this is a new era of temp tattoos bc I woke up to it being really dark.

Saw this little lovely yesterday while out.
A black cat with white whiskers and bright green eyes has long fur and is laying on a stump in front of a fence. His ears are perked little triangles with one of them tipped. A tiny bit of white sock pokes out in a barely visible foot. He has familiar energy.

Big Migraine. 2 am

They gave me migraine cocktail+ steroid+magnesium at the ER and I'm doing much better today.

3 day flare finally broke!

Saw this tiny bee yesterday. She could have fit on the tip of my pinky finger.

I'd like to post more but alt text is hard right now, so here's one of my favourite shots of the day.
