Like any scripting, it's the syntax errors that will do you in, but once you're passed that the flexibility is worth it, Excel pivots usually end with me being frustrated with percentages or averages

Very fair, I enjoy doing my share of SQL so I've been able to spend some time working on dynamic pivots to deal with half the hassle before it reaches a dashboard

Awesome, what is your recent go to(s)? I've been right into Strategy RPGs like Wasteland 3 and BG3

I do play about with Excel and have heard good things about Tableau (heck I almost dabbled in QlikView) but PowerBI currently pays the bills
