57. Predator Badlands
As someone who has only seen one Predator movie this was a pleasant surprise. An actually competently written blockbuster with clear thematic ideas expressed well through its compelling characters. Great visually too. My only issue was that the climax lasted a bit too long.

Solid flick. Beautifully animated movie that's able to tell a coherent story wih compelling characters with no words. Truly shows the power just one person can have in making something memorable. AI could never.

Realized a very specific JRPG trope I'm a fan of: the magic-user party member who acts like a scientist/researcher/etc or at the very least treats magic as a form of science (regardless of the way the universes magic system works)

Decent pastiche of retro point and click adventure games that feels surprisingly authentic, but the "battle system" being as pervasive as it takes a lot from the overall experience. Wouldn't recommend it outside people who like it's specific niche.

I'd like to add Afterlove EP to this discussion. It's a narrative driven adventure game with rhythm game segments about a young musician coming to grips with his gfs death. It's notable for being the last game developed by Mohammad Fahmi of Coffee Talk fame before his untimely death.
