Intel has definitely been the bad guy over the last 5 years or so. I currently have an all-AMD build (7900XTX, 5700X3D) and I've been using AMD as a CPU platform since 2015. In that time I have had zero issues :)

I actually tried this earlier, did it twice. Once for my current self, and once as I was 5 years ago
I've gotten better in every way except hyperfixation. Hyperfixation got way worse. Interesting.
