Seems like it is just an issue with the monitor - I got that refresh rate to work on my computer, but after a little over an hour or so it flickered again and inverted all my colors. A friend has the same model of tablet and hasn't had any of these issues, either. Gonna try and exchange it, I think.

I noticed too that when I plugged it into their Windows 11 laptop, it doesn't have the 59.997hz option, and I actually couldn't get it to work at 60hz or 59.94 hz. I guess I missed that when I'd first tried it.

I think now I just need to figure out how to get that 59.997 option onto my PC?

Plugging this into my partner's Windows 10 PC and it works perfectly fine (so far, at least - been about 30ish minutes and usually problems flare up by then.)

I have it set to 59.997hz on here - setting it to 60hz or 59.94hz (only these shows up on my PC, not 59.997hz) makes it flicker.

Unfortunately that didn't seem to work - flickered off and then back on with bugged visuals. It does this sometimes, too - the right edge of the screen flows over to the left. You can even seen in the second image the few pixels that aren't being drawn because of this.

haven't heard of this before, hoping it's the Vitamin that fixes it - will update in a bit

I probably should have done a return on the parts but it was such a hassle to build and I didn't feel like taking it all apart with it being such a specific issue @w@

I did try the different configurations for plugging it in, as well as different power blocks, USB-C cords, plugs in the wall, etc...

Yeah, I haven't had a chance to test either of those yet - I will say the other computers I've tested were all running Windows 10. I wouldn't THINK 11 would be that big of an issue, but also I wouldn't really be surprised if that's what it was. Unfortunately don't own another 4K monitor yet either

It works fine on every other computer in the house, and any monitor I've tried on this computer works fine. There's an option for 59.94 hertz at 4K, but things like 59hz and 50hz force a much lower resolution. I'd try Custom Resolution Utility but I had a hard time getting anything that worked

If anybody has any suggestions, PLEASE let me know - it's very frustrating not being able to utilize the full capabilities of my monitor. #PCHelp #PC #XPPEN

I'm very much just at a loss as to what I could do to fix the issue, at this point. There's seemingly no consistent action that causes the monitor to flicker - even when just leaving it on the lock screen, the monitor will go black.

- Testing ALL video ports (including the use of several DisplayPort to HDMI adapters)
- Reseating RAM

One thing I did notice was the iGPU usage spiking to 100%, then down to zero - seemingly no relevance to what I was doing. However, I haven't seen this since, and it still flickers.

I have tried the following:
- Fresh installs of Windows 11
- Unplugging all other monitors
- Disconnecting the GPU and using the onboard graphics
- Updating the BIOS
- Disabling iGPU
- Updating / Reinstalling AMD drivers
- Trying out different combinations of provided cords
- Lowering resolution

There's no disconnect sound like you would hear when unplugging a monitor or USB device. The drawing function still works when the display flickers.

From my testing, the monitor seems to work fine on every other computer, including ones much older than my current PC. For the little while that the monitor DOES operate normally at 4k60 on my machine, it works perfectly fine. Eventually it flashes black for a few seconds, then the picture returns.

Here's the parts list for my computer. I haven't had any other issues with the computer - it runs games perfectly fine, and I haven't had any issues with any other monitors that I've plugged into it (including a 165hz WQHD monitor - works completely fine.) I'm running Windows 11, as well.
