I definitely don’t see it the same way. You’re allowed a continuation of your movement. You don’t just suddenly stop as soon as contact is made. Thats physically impossible. Looks like most people see it the way I do, as a common foul.

But like I said, we’ll agree to disagree.

a) no severe contact
b) CC made a legitimate play. I dont see any “recklessness”
c) what follow through?
d) no potential for injury
e) only one that may stand, which is dumb because CC didn’t react aggressively. She can’t control how the fouled player reacts (AR in this case)

Fingers crossed. We did just give up three 2nd round picks and our most tradable contract though. I thought picking up a legit center was the front office’s top priority the past three seasons, so I guess I’ll believe it when I see it.

I feel like we’ve said the same about every addition over the past 3 years. We continue to rotate wing players and get the same result. The only thing we all continue to bring up, and never gets addressed, is the need for a solid big. Was hoping DLo would be part of a trade for a legit center.

Following just to see what the other side thinks leading up to week 18. Are you guys still hopeful or are you also thinking it’s over after tonight?

Also, as far as Stafford… the talk here in LA all year has been that this is likely Stafford’s last season in LA.

“LA teams”, but it’s only the Rams apparently… the team who has gone 5-2 over their last 7, including wins over the Vikings and Bills. Not saying they’re having anywhere close to a good game, but don’t say they’re benefiting from “media bias”.

They spent over a billion dollars this past offseason and finally won a legitimate full-season WS. Now they’re still going out to add a multiple time cy-young winner, likely the best NPB pitcher, and maybe even Soto. Deferring money has pushed them over the top, but at what point is it too much?
