I can see where you're coming from. As someone who was constantly buying games to just *buy* games, I've basically reoriented myself to just play more of my collection I haven't touched, and if I'm buying a game, I'm buying it more with intention.

This one might be a bit controversial, but I grew up with Mario Galaxy 2, loved it as it ultimately was one of the games that got me into the Mario series as a whole, but after playing the likes of Odyssey and Bowser's Fury, it feels so much slower to go back to. Same can be said for Galaxy 1.
