His numbers were very good for his first 5 starts. He went 6-0-0 in his first 6 games. His numbers in 6th game weren’t the best but they still pulled off the win in overtime after allowing goals in the 3rd to tie it up. No one remembers his performance slipped in that 6th game because they won

You just said it yourself, he’s a playoff performer and the kind of guy you need in playoffs. And the type of guy they will be missing if they trade him. He’s overpaid but I’d sign him again for less when his contract is up.

I think Anderson and Bolduc both have the ability to turn the physicality up come playoffs. We saw Anderson do it last year and 2021, but he was the only one really outside of Xhekaj when he came in later in the series. I agree need a couple more bangers in the bottom 6

Anderson could very likely be back or both of them at a lower price. Anderson is a playoff beast

Come on Jack this is getting old. Won a Heart, Vézina, Ted Lindsay, gold medals, etc. He had Desharnais as a #1 center (no disrespect to David) but he never had a team in front of him. You hold a grudge against the guy I get it, but was a great player. Waived his no trade twice to help the team

Also the best goalie in the league of his era. Some other goalies you mentioned, while great, had 10x the team in front of them than Price ever had. He didn’t win a cup but that was not his fault. That was bad management. The 2021 run was the best thing any Habs fan not 40+ has seen.

If you don’t retire Price’s number at some point you may never retire another number again. He was the face franchise and their only super star in the modern era. The only true star any Habs fan under 35 years old has seen play for their team. People came to the games to watch Carey Price

He had no place in the Habs organization anymore. Fowler needs to play in Laval. Dobes is the better back up for the Habs. Glad they got a return for him.

I think he’ll be back unless there’s a hockey trade to be made. He has flaws but he did score 20 goals in 52 games on a team that needs goal scoring.
