Games becoming expensive has been a topic for a while now. We know they argue with inflation and so on, they are already trying to get us used to 80-100 bucks a game, but now with a trade war going on, they will act like they have no choice & then won't change it back ever again.

Slapped a 2TB SSD onto a #Pi5 8GB via USB 3.0 adapter to host some Docker containers on my network. I got curious and tried to run a Minecraft server and it works extremely well, might be an option for future streams. I wish Palworld servers would run this smooth on it 😑

Emulation is not a crime. I am tired of people acting like "using an emulator" itself is synonymous with "committing piracy". It's not, you just hear about it in that context when reading big headlines. Emulation is preservation and can be done legally.

Kinda glad that I grew up with mostly PC gaming. No extra fees or services to play and my library doesn't become unplayable when a new gen hits the market. When buying consoles, make sure to buy physical copies, don't rely on all those online services to stick around.

Not feeling so good, gonna chill this weekend, hopefully I can stream over the holidays a bit. Surely I cannot get more unlucky with the planned Portal stream, right?!

Easter eggs in games used to feel so personal, like the devs just wanted to leave their mark with a personal note or with a community-centered reference. Now they just feel like some type of abstract side quest without soul to get as much online coverage as possible out of it.
