Today marks the 6th anniversary of the inaugural International Strang Sauce Day when my wife shook up a jar of Dolmio sauce that happened to have a loose lid.

Got an Amazon Echo Dot for Xmas. Heard a lot of great things about it but I’m really struggling? Tried all the commands;
“Alexa, play music”
“Alexa, what’s the weather like?”

Today we see the much wished for return of the empty trolley in ED. Spotted up and down the country, it’s a once yearly event that’s eagerly awaited by all and accompanied by the traditional staff handover greeting of “… and no-one in the corridor”

My iPhone hit me with Western movie tunes today. "The Big Country" & "The Magnificent Seven" are hugely uplifting, evoking those vistas of wide open plains & huge rock cliffs kissed by glorious Western sun; quite something as I stare out of the window of the 433 at a drab, rain battered Croydon...

Just so we're clear, my role as a Dad is to be vehemently against getting any pets until I eventually, very grudgingly, acquiesce to the kids' constant pleas and then very secretly love them and fuss them way more than any other member of the family does...
