@garethjohnbrown.bsky.social I wanted to let you know I just finished the Book of Doors and it is one of my new favorites! Thank you so much for this book! As a long term D&D player, I am looking to take some of the ideas and form them into a campaign for my friends. Thank you for your imagination!

When love is the way, then no child will go to bed hungry in this world ever again. When love is the way, we will let justice roll down like a mighty stream and righteousness like an ever-flowing brook. When love is the way, poverty will become history.

Defunding cancer research is not pro-life.

I find it interesting that the 10 Commandments are being thrown up all over the place on public buildings, yet no one thinks about putting any of the beatitudes up. It’s almost as if people are scared to turn power over on its head.

Showing grace and mercy isn’t nasty.

It’s Christlike.

We cannot change the world in a day and there will always be setbacks, but we always have the option to show compassion, kindness and love.

Maybe a little less ego on our Bibles would be a good thing.

A government that mandates a daily swearing of loyalty (aka the pledge of allegiance by children) may have cracks that the glue of indoctrination may not be able to fill.

The positive of this Trump presidency is that I find myself focused on the positive I can do locally and less about the train wreck that will occur in Washington.
