I had a chance to go to the State Fair yesterday and I'm glad it happened. It was great weather and the sweet corn is still awesome. Had a corn dog too. Walked a lot.

The feature we went to see was STEM Day. It was fun. My 5 yr old granddaughter saw some things.

I took pics of Women's Stem.
The selfie wall greeting at the South Entrance. We went in the horseshoe 🧲 curve for dropping off a tickets. Parked across the street ($25). This wall is by the animal Birthing building for FFA, Future Farmers of America. We walked around and my daughter played with my granddaughter and my son helped with that. He and the 5 yr old went down the Super Slide together, FUN! Those 3 enjoyed the slide and the Butterfly Exhibit. I rested, whew 😅. A fun day. This was one of the signs at the Women's Stem exhibit. The displayed Solar Cars. There were 4 little racers to have a challenge 👍🏻😁 Here they're featuring a sign for the Society of Women Engineers. Cool cool 😎

Two buttons, Trans People are here to stay and My Body My Choice! This artist dazzled patrons with full color display! And they really love Van Gogh! I do too! Great walk around the lake! Awesome atmosphere! Perfect weather.
Pic of Powderhorn. Its distinctive curve gave it its moniker. That willow is one of my yearly attractions. This art was among the first I saw. That little dog with the blue tints on, and the smiling sheep were pics I had to capture. The newer, now iconic lake's edge rainbow 🌈 feature is an eye catcher. This bronze casting inlaid into the sidewalk caught my attention. Windblown waves and prairie grasses.

Early today when I was walking back to Dunwoody, I cut through the Sculpture Garden.

Had a good walk around the Loring Park Art Fair 👍🏻😎
Seeing part of the walk/ bike bridge over Lyndale Ave. From Loring Park to the Sculpture Garden. There's the Cherry and Spoon. A very nice person asked me to pose and suggested this. Thank you kind person, you made my day. Though😏 seeing a pic of me isn't quite top shelf. A sculpture of a fast copper hare atop a bronze bell. Another look at the bridge over Lyndale Ave. I'm not sure what that 4 walled feature is called? Sorta represents ruins to me. Especially among tall prairie grasses.

The Loring Park Art Fair is nice. There's free parking at Dunwoody and I got here in about 30 minutes, including driving and walking.

I walked it all in under an hour, wow, that's good for me 😁

I only took 3 pics
Flowers that caught my attention early in my walk. Reds, yellows, white and pink These Marigolds caught my attention too. Especially that big pink one. Orange in the background. Last pic, I only thought to take a pic of the tents after I was done. There's the inner, main garden to the right. And tents of the art fair along the left.
