Back at Inca Road studios to make a bit more noise!

It's easy to take what's on your doorstep for granted sometimes. There's still a lot of peace in this world - and sometimes we don't have to travel too far to find it.

Just back from the first of hopefully many rehearsals with a new band... Was great to make some noise again!

Dusting off my riffs (and vocals) for a potential new project... And yes, my rehearsal room has been taken over by a toddler!

I'm not the most proficient mandolin player but this little Epiphone has served me well in the studio and on the road - it does what I need it to do!

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock...

A family portrait - just in time for Christmas.

Even guitar players need at least one bass (I have 2) - this is one of them. Can't go wrong with a Precision.

The latest addition to my collection - The Epiphone Crestwood Custom. Such a great sounding and playing guitar! I've no idea why these aren't more widely used - so versatile and a lot of fun. I'm a fan!

A Fender for a Friday evening - my '72 Reissue Thinline Tele. This one has the proper pickups and sounds huge!

My Danelectro U2 in Commie Red. It twangs, jangles and does the rock 'n' roll thing effortlessly - a really fun and addictive guitar to play.

Another build by Ernie McMillen - an S-style that out-strats most! A fusion of the vintage and the contemporary - plays like a dream and sounds incredible thanks to a set of Shed '62s with custom switching.

Although I own a number of electrics this is the one and only acoustic I need. Crafted by a local luthier (Ernie McMillen) using solid Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides - this thing sounds better every time it's played. Perfectly balanced and inspiring.

Sometimes one pickup is enough to get the job done! Loving this little Coronet these days - so simple yet so much fun!

I've owned this Tele for years now, USA '52 reissue - it's had a few tweaks along the way but it always delivers. Probably (still) my number 1.
