Summer’s still swinging here in Northern California, so we harvested the bounty of the farmers market and made toasted heirloom tomato sammiches for dinner: Bernal Bakery sourdough + kewpie mayo mixed with laksa paste (another Chef @jonkung.bsky.social idea). Sweet, spicy, perfect. Transcendent. 🌞🍅

With this addition to my Heath Ceramics dinnerware, this brings my Heath collection to a whopping 2 pieces. I’m not made of Silicon Valley dollars, so I cherish every piece. A Dessert Bowl in Moonstone from the Heath Coupe Line.

Abandoned thoughts of doom for a few hours today and focused my energy and hope into a new batch of Chef @jonkung.bsky.social’s fragrant chili oil. Loads of Sichuan peppercorns but also used Aleppo chili flakes. So much mala goodness just in time for Lunar New Year!
