I’m going to say what I’m going say. Love it, hate it, ignore it or applaud it. But I’m going to say it.
You’re moving the goalposts (see what I did there?). We’re talking about NFL contracts, not my business.

You do understand that he works for the NFL? So, yes the league can restrict his movement within the league if he’s violated his contract with one team and stopping him from playing with another team in the league. He may be able to play in another professional football league in Canada or XFL.

I own a business and have employees. Your point?

Call it what you want, he had a contract to play football. He refused to do so… #consequences

Bad precedent. What’s to stop every unhappy player from doing the same thing. By that I mean quitting mid game. He could’ve asked to be released before the game. Different situation.

Why would his current team let him go to another team when 1) he violated his contract with them 2) they wouldn’t get any compensation releasing him & he signs with another team.
He could have gone to the team and asked to be cut b4 the game. Quitting during the game was a punk move. No tears here.

If you violate the terms of your contract; there are consequences. If you’re contract requires you to play football for a particular team and you refuse to do so, I’m okay if there are ramifications. He can get a job with the XFL or Canadian League to play football, but the NFL? Nope!

I think releasing him and letting him sign with another team opens Pandora’s Box. I don’t think Campbell would currently have a lot of suitors because of how he quit & his fringe value as a player, but what if he was a very good but disgruntled player? Quitting your way to free agency? Nah…

As of this morning! Yes, it’s a problem!

I’ve purposely tuned out from watching news on any network since the election. Even on the print & digital side, only scanning headlines when they come across my feeds. I haven’t begun to analyze the “whys” me & others are tuning out. Some reasons are obvious: exhaustion & anxiety of what’s to come.

What bathroom did she use?

The guy who had him in my league still lost by 40!
