Thanks for the primer on all this. I’ve been a prolific TikTok creator (as An Okay Boomer) since 2020 when Covid found me idle at home! I never got wind of Vine. I always find it interesting how some things come onto our radar and others don’t. And those in the know say “You never heard of XXXX?”

I’ve been fascinated with the phenomenon of connecting up with total strangers electronically for over 30 years. I first did so in the early 90s at a time when AOL had only about a quarter of a million subscribers & I got hooked on their “chat rooms” which then often led to Instant Messages. (2/2)
