Climate change will require coordination at every level--federal, state and local. But with President Trump calling climate change 'a con job,' local communities are forced to tackle a national problem on their own.

Social Security isn’t failing by accident. Trump and Musk gutted the federal workforce with no plan to replace it.

The old status quo has already failed too many people. We need smarter government—including customer advocates in every benefits agency.

Further proof (as if we needed it) that the system is rigged against us. The ultra-rich buy elections, profit wildly, and then do it all over again. Wash, rinse, repeat. The difference with Trump is he doesn’t care when we see it. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

A union welder was fired from his job at GE Lynn for a post he made about Charlie Kirk in a private, non-work Facebook group. I don’t like what he said, but let’s be clear: he shouldn’t be fired when Donald Trump gets a free pass for expressing glee at the brutal murder of Rob and Michelle Reiner.

Social Security is cutting field office visits in half in 2026. I've seen what that means for us: longer phone hold times, more bureaucratic runaround, and more retirees and people with disabilities exposed to predatory scammers who offer to fix problems — for a huge fee.
