I think I Got It! - This is all just a re-implementation of the 1992 PC game Wolfenstein 3D, refactored from C to humans and scaled-up globally.
Musk identifies with "TechBro / Dark Maga" along with Curtis Yarven, and Peter Theil (JD's sponsor) - It's all adding up.

The article makes a great point - there is often so much life and beauty in the ordinary and mundane that we sometimes miss celebrating it.
Instead of being idealistic either way - How about we celebrate the duality that the human experience is often some mix of both.

I bet real close for public facing LLMs, Private and commercial models will still want to rely on science though - for science and non-hallucinatory results.
