Just lost my job in UK hospitality. Was told by my manager that head office have said the increase in employer NI means they have to let me go.

Sad tonight to hear the great Howard Hughes has died 😢
Howard was so kind and helpful to me in 2006 when I came back to radio after a couple of years away and we worked together at Smooth FM. Back then there were just two Smooth stations - he did the London breakfast news and I did the North West.
