We here in South Carolina feel your pain too! Like Missouri our state legislature is heavily gerrymandered. Resulting in an overwhelmingly Republican, and right-wing, legislature. When the state tends to vote about 43% to 47% Democratic.

District 1 in SC is in one of the wealthier regions of SC -- including Charleston and the coast down to Hilton Head. Unfortunately, after a Dem won the district in 2018 the Republicans gerrymandered the district to help them win future elections.
