i work in what was once called a “safety net clinic”. I’ve had 3 patients (sharing economy drivers) with DVTs from long shifts and incentive bonuses from car services

Cruise was a hot mess (now gone)
Waymo hasn’t been
Yes the empty cars are crazy - but so were the empty Ubers with tired drivers with 3 hour commutes
(peak prices have gotten crazy, no telling how bad it will be once they have a monopoly)
