Grasping a little normalcy…

Every time I hear John Saur’s voice, I think we’re screwed, not because he’s a skilled attorney, but because the fix is in at the Supreme Court.

How is what Trump and Hegseth are doing different from the actions of Duterte that has landed him in prison?

So, if Bondi plays Lucy and the football after Trump tells Repubs to vote for Epstein release, will the Republicans finally impeach?
November 17, 2025 at 9:28 PM
Trump can order them released. So, is this just to give Republicans cover, knowing that Bondi can now say nope, they’re needed in an ongoing investigation?

In 2016, I still lived in California and felt comfortable writing in Bernie Sanders for President. I believe in his call for Medicare for all, free college, a livable wage and wealth tax. Now Tim Kaine voted to throw away hopes of saving Obamacare. I must be a Democratic Socialist.
November 12, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Now, Republicans can safely vote to extend Obamacare subsidies to get cover on mid-term elections trusting that Trump will VETO them.
November 10, 2025 at 5:15 PM
Soooo sad. They finally killed Obamacare. So much for standing up and standing firm. Funny, Republicans predicted it.

We have ICE because we’ve failed to pass immigration reform. We have an ACA crisis because we gave up on universal healthcare for all. Any questions?

They’re saying 42 million Americans are losing SNAP benefits. Doesn’t that number represent millions more in the families of those recipients?

Trump’s Supreme Court endowed him with immunity from prosecution for “official acts.” If the ballroom is being paid for by private donors, is the demolition of the East Wing and construction of the ballroom outside his “official acts?”

It is baffling that Democrats are fighting to save Obamacare again. Maybe they shouldn't re-open the government until free healthcare is made available to all.

I live in Texas and am happy to hear that 6 fat national guardsman failed in their mission in Chicago (where they are doing nothing) and were forced to return to Texas in shame after photos of their fatness were published. Now, how about fat ice agents?
October 16, 2025 at 3:05 AM
Maybe Democrats should add removing all nationalized national guard and other military from all cities before re-opening the government and saving health care.
October 8, 2025 at 12:01 AM
Sad to hear that Texas National Guard who aren’t being paid by their civilian employers are deploying under what are likely illegal orders to Illinois where they will also not be paid by the Federal Government during the shutdown.

The house is out of session until the shutdown ends...but they're being paid by us. Bastards.
