beautiful story. There’s a sweet spot for sure, I think, in which you can experience the growthy personal expansion of ‘bigger and better’ even within a seemingly narrow field or purview.

imagining emotions as keys on a piano was a watershed insight/shift for me (via IFS).
It’s just fine to play two keys at once. Maybe it’s harmonious or not, momentarily… until another key etc. That’s music.
