The first attached image pair is of six newly freed (and clothed) slaves aboard HMS Sphinx some time between the 10th and 14th October 1907.
The second is from the same event, with a Royal Navy crewman removing the shackles from a freed slave.

Took more experimentation and tool use than I expected, but here we are. Still looks retro - I expect taken with a horrible cheap camera and/or film. Stuff is all over the place.

One final thing is that there are the people I call 'Autotrolls'. They may not be deliberately malicious. But they disrupt and sour the environment so, sadly, the best policy is to Block and Move On. Trolls that don't know that they are Trolls are still Trolls.

On the last, strong, repeated, insistence on being told 'how do you know' is a sign of a potential bot user.
I have been online, and on Social Media, since 1996. And the advice 'Do not feed the Trolls' has stood the test of time. You are under no obligation to engage, with anyone or anything.
