I’ve been critical of the Fed’s approach to QE and the idea of unlimited reserves but to its credit it’s always been a collective of diverse people that rejected political influence as much as possible.

It’s beyond me that these people can’t understand that all of these mechanisms that they’re twisting can give legal precedent to the next Democratic administration to turn them against Conservatives. Unless they plan on illegally occupying the WH forever this makes no sense.
