Is nuclear power viable anywhere?

There are none so blind as those who will not see
January 6, 2026 at 9:11 PM
Extraordinary. So the cost of power in China will decrease over time and it makes one wonder how America will be able to compete
January 2, 2026 at 10:09 PM
Hopefully investors in nuclear are recognising the folly of such investments
December 30, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Hopefully some time in the future, it will come out just why Trump is beholding to Putin
December 30, 2025 at 12:31 AM
Trump's Shuttle and University failures had more chance of success than nuclear fusion
December 21, 2025 at 9:19 PM
I wonder how long before they become stranded assets
December 20, 2025 at 12:02 AM
That is an absolute disgrace in what is supposed to be a democracy
December 14, 2025 at 11:27 PM
Just like coal, nuclear is not flexible and is a relic from the days of "base load power"
December 9, 2025 at 2:46 AM
One has to ask why the taxpayer has to bale out an unproved technology being developed by a private company.
December 9, 2025 at 2:42 AM
The decision to fast track the building of this reactor is totally irresponsible and a threat to the people of Kemmerer, Wyoming
December 2, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Containing nuclear waste would appear to be an impossible task so why further contaminate our planet?
December 1, 2025 at 9:07 PM
I find it extraordinary that we both know and have the technology to combat climate change yet some people are determined to pursue either grossly expensive technology (eg. nuclear) or technology that is a proven failure (eg. CCS).
November 30, 2025 at 8:23 PM
Like the peace plan itself, this is a ridiculous idea.
November 25, 2025 at 9:22 PM
This is a complete fiasco and everyone connected with it is denying responsibility
November 25, 2025 at 4:24 AM
Hopefully the voters will make their opinions about this sell-out of Ukraine clear at the mid-terms.
November 23, 2025 at 1:23 AM
It would seem that money overrides all moral considerations
November 21, 2025 at 9:52 PM
No problem, just great to read your posts
November 21, 2025 at 9:46 PM
It would seem that when Trump was borne, he was missing a moral compass and has never recovered
November 19, 2025 at 4:28 AM
This Labor government will do anything to reduce emissions except the simplest means, namely to prevent the development of new coal and gas
November 18, 2025 at 9:27 PM
What an absolute disgrace!
November 18, 2025 at 9:24 PM
Extraordinary - it would seem that the sanctions against Russia do not preclude western countries providing income for its war against Ukraine via purchases of uranium - what a disgrace!
November 18, 2025 at 9:23 PM
A total waste of money!
November 17, 2025 at 9:43 PM
A tragic loss of life. The last safety review was in August this year.
November 17, 2025 at 9:40 PM
Our governments should have been doing this for the last 20 years!
