I’ve always told people that marmite/vegemite and peanut butter is a great combo but nobody believes me! Finally someone who understands the genius.

With AI productivity improvements all medium to large companies should be developing software in house to support their business needs, something that pre-AI would likely have been too expensive to do.

I think a closer but similar analogy would be quitting joinery because of the invention of CNC. Because the price for joinery dropped the demand has increased which I can see happening to software.

I’ve been using the Down Dog Yoga app for about the last 9 months (usually about 30 mins of Hatha 4 times a week). Prior to that I had pretty much constant neck and upper back pain but now I’m pretty much pain free. I find it easier to do at home and just do it as soon as I wake up in the morning.

In all seriousness @scott.hanselman.com keep up the good work. You are a North Star both in tech and as a human.

Not my area of expertise but he has a H-index of 30 and i10 of 43 which would suggest that he is very well regarded within his field.
There was also a second reference.

Do you have any references to these studies? From a personal perspective I believe that (based on what I observe from friends, neighbours etc) I both take more of an interest in this topic than most and also that I barely have enough information to make any sort of informed decision.

Only that in jury duty you have to actively participate and take in the facts being presented. With compulsory voting the majority of voters don’t actually undertake any kind of critical analysis of who they should vote for so while you have a high voter turnout this doesnt guarantee informed votes

Love this idea. Particularly for remote teams it would be a great way for juniors to learn as well as passing knowledge an ideas between senior peers.

Before Trump got into power I heard this great joke: “The UK and the US are in a battle to see who can destroy their country first. Britain is currently winning but America has a Trump card.”

Also I feel it’s easier to print something in 3D than 2D

My printer is currently unable to scan any documents because it’s low on cyan and yellow. Surely this is a good kickstarter opportunity‽

Thank you for this…I’d been considering one also for the aspect ratio but will probably wait for the new Dell QD OLED 32” instead

If you look at this chart both the Trump and Biden administration were responsible for major peaks and overall mortality from COVID-19. Overall both parties prioritised the US economy over the welfare of their citizens.
