I like mountain bikes, dogs and beer, maybe not in that order
So the AI that had to be taken down because it proclaimed itself "MechaHitler" and has the most safety concerns of any LLM turned out to be incorrect?

Well who knew.

It needed the gore and the controversy, as ultimately it wasn't very good.

And I say that as someone who enjoyed ripping heads off playing as Sub Zero back in the day.

Following you home to get you address is a bit creepy, but if they have also supplied their address then I guess it comes across as less threatening.

Apology does seem genuine, and let's be honest how often do you ever get one?

That's, the hardcore version of "Beetle Punch" right there.

It's such a shame. Free to air is / was great but its really that team of Gary / Ned / David et al, that made it special.

It just seemed like such a labour of love for everyone involved. You rarely see that in any sports coverage today.
July 30, 2025 at 12:38 PM
It got a bit dusty in here watching that.

I have to say the professionalism, integrity and warmth that Gary, Ned, Matt et al, brought to the coverage, of what is still a fairly niche sport in the UK was exceptional. They will be missed.

This is simplistic nonsense. Easily debunked by elementary school science.

Compare and contrast the insolation of Venus, Earth and Mars with their respective temperature levels.

Or explain why Venus is hotter than Mercury despite being further from the sun?

Its fine, they do this when white people are accused of sexual assault too... Right?

Right?
July 23, 2025 at 9:18 AM
Oooft!
I get a similar reaction to midge bites although not quite that bad. Horrible itchy, hot and a bit sore all at the same time.

Copious amounts of Smidge repellent, covering up and/or running away seem to be the best way of avoiding it.

Because they are mainly brown people and Musk is a white supremacist.

"It's just summer"
"They turned the map red to scare us"
"We go on holiday for this weather"
"1976!"

Did I miss any?

We definitely shouldn't ban things. The social connections technology allows us to make are undeniably a force for good, but it does need control.

Without any form of control its easy to use these technologies to manipulate and divide instead of connect and unite.

Just look at "X"

I can beat that.

Empty driveway, check.
Parking bay nearby, check.
Completely empty quiet street, check.

Fuck it on the pavement anyway.

According to a TLDR YouTube report, its low single digit percentage points. Labour is teens percentage points according to the same source

All mushrooms are edible, but some only once.

You do understand that there are people who would say what you have said not in jest, but sincerely.

Swap "cyclists" for any other group and see how it reads.
May 31, 2025 at 7:40 AM
Lycra, check. Red lights, check. Moral high ground, check. Cycle lanes, check.

You just need to mention "Road Tax" to complete your cyclist bingo card.
May 31, 2025 at 7:23 AM
So you hate yourself and wish to be "mowed down"?

He was in a car, that automatically downgrades the violence in the eyes of the law.
May 30, 2025 at 8:00 AM
Or if they had used something other than a car. We make excuses everyday for the daily violence of people in motorised vehicles.
May 30, 2025 at 6:48 AM
I actually used to respect him as a motoring journalist, he punctured a lot of the pomposity associated with it, but these days he's just an unsufferable prick.

If you took pressurized water from the ocean depths, put it in a can and then opened it a sea level then it absolutely would be "fizzy"

That's what "fizzy" is its dissolved gasses being released due to a change in pressure.
May 22, 2025 at 11:02 AM
Well that depends on your definition of "carbonated".

The world's oceans store massive quantities of dissolved oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
