Shocked to hear of the passing, of the other half of Soft Cell, David Ball, aged just 66. That debut from 81, Non Stop Erotic Cabaret, is still brilliant. But it's the single they released a year later 'Torch' which I think is one of the best pop records ever.

The passing of Ace, on Thursday, has really kicked me in the head. Similar feelings with Dave Greenfield. I think these people, are with you, a long time in life, the Music, and it feels a hell of an empty place without them. Grateful to have lived in a world with them ❤️

35 Years ago this evening. Look at the size of that ticket! From the old 'Mike Lloyd Megastore site, by the man on the horse, in Wolverhampton. Maiden, were promoting their 'No Prayer For The Dying' album which I'd bought a few days earlier. Fabulous gig. Where has the time gone?

RIP John Lodge. Great Bassist, and vocalist. The Moody Blues were a different beast, with the arrival of him, and Justin Hayward. I love the track 'Question' and material like 'Nights In White Satin' will live on as a phenomenon.

I was shocked, how rubbish, and dated 'The Invisible Man by Queen, off The Miracle Album, sounded on #forgotten80s the other night. I thought the whole album was bang average, to be honest, apart from IWIA, and Scandal. Innuendo magnificent and so much better.

I don't normally need an excuse to play Roxy, but as it's Bryan's 80th. I'm fanatical about their early stuff, but it's Same Old Scene that's stole the day today. Pity Alan Spenner, who played the Bass, isn't on any of the promos of it. Now 45 years old. Still magnificent. #roxy
