I don't think we were shite in his first spell (we were consistently around top 6) with very little money tbf. I think it's a long time since we have competed with them regularly and when he went first time we then spent 10 years or so pretty much fighting relegation and changing managers regularly.

Agree re our scouting. I've no problem buying a young Barry type (altho at a cheaper price) if you have a proper starting striker. Same theory applies to Dibling as well. We have spent our 2 biggest fees on potential. Madness.

Whilst I broadly agree he did okay tonight and I'd say the Brighton game. However it's basically him or Beto (who has proven over a long time he aint good enough) so I'd play Barry for 5-6 games on the run and give him 60-75 mins rather than this constant chopping and changing.

I posted before that Mykolenko spends most of his time at inside left to free up Grealish but it does not work because opposing teams have no worry of Mykolenko getting forward so just leave him anyway.
