Doom 2016 is really great. I’ve never played a game that put this much effort into it’s world and creature designs, while having you move through it at such a breakneck pace. To me, it’s the most a video game has ever felt like a rollercoaster

Started watching venture brothers. Eps aren’t too bad (nothing great yet, tho), but the budget is cartoonishly shoestring. All the fight scenes are slideshows; I think the pilot episode is entirely 12 fps. It’s rough out here

Found out an old jrpg I was in the late game of had a stat that increased ex gain, and since I hadn’t prioritized getting that at the start, all my grinding has been inefficient. Legitimately not sure if I’ll ever touch that game again.

Reddit can be cool, but way too often I run into people posting screenshots from arguments they didn’t win on other sites in the hopes that someone will finally tell them they’re right. It’s never not cringe
