Harper is a lot less well know then most of the poets I’ll mention this month. She was an absolute champion of abolitionism and women’s suffrage managed to write some of the greatest poems ever written like “Call For Freedom” and “ The Wrong of Slavery.” And she wrote those while in constant danger.

Thems some good sonnets.

And here to kick it off woke up this morning to my dog Dexter in the middle of the floor( there’s 5 dog beds around the house btw) but this is how he chose to sleep.
