We need to try nonviolent protests. And shutting the economy down to put pressure on. But we clearly are WAY not there yet.
But it seems there is a quickening happening. They are doing things faster and faster which will ramp up pain in many people - which will lead to the large protests we need.

I am still hanging in there on FB. But I predict a mass exodus of the sane people within the coming year.

The blowback does not come from us. We are already realizing how dangerous he is.
The blowback will come from their side. Those voters who will be in such personal pain because of his policies that they will revolt against the pain. And there will be plenty left of those folks when the time comes

As far as I can tell (new here) all our exchanges are public. So, not only the site creators know (they likely always will) but so do any Trump supporters...

For all it's faults, the American people LOVES freedom. And fascist oppression and removal of all rights is not going to sit well with this heavily armed people. No police state will be oppressive enough to hold onto minority rule forever.
This might take a while but fascism will not succeed here!

For all it's faults, the American people LOVES freedom. And fascist oppression and removal of all rights is not going to sit well with this heavily armed people. No police state will be oppressive enough to hold onto minority rule forever.

At this point our ONLY way out of a permanent fascist dictatorship is them completely overreaching, inflicting so much pain that most Americans will scream in pain and grab their guns.
And that goal (as horrific as that is) might be even better reached by Vance, who is not charismatic at all.

We are all getting used to this space. I never really used twitter, so, this is new to me too. We'll see how it goes. Talking to likeminded people will be good either way. Just be aware, everything here seems to be public (except for direct messages).

I think it is going to be horrific. They have House, Senate, Presidency and SCOTUS and they have a written playbook (Project 2025) that outlines a horrific agenda. NOTHING stops them!
Which means, they WILL completely overreach. And it means there WILL be massive blowback coming! That gives me HOPE
