It is a great book! Even understanding the timescales involved it occasionally gave me the willies.

It is murder.

None of this is legal in any sense, not one bit. This is murder.

It's crazy to dissect what the second strike timeline was. The first strike and all subsequent strikes are murder or attempted murder. You cannot simply declare people, even very bad people, of being enemy combatants and then kill them. All of these strikes are murder.

Exactly. I was a fighter pilot in the Air Force, this is murder plain and simple. There is no legal framework where you can bomb civilians intentionally. This is not combat footage, this is a snuff film.

Name one that he hasn't pardoned already for another crime

If you stay below 10,000 feet, you stay in approach control airspace instead of the high altitude sectors. If Washington or New York Center (the high sectors) was understaffed, they may limit traffic there. If the Approach controls are adequately staffed, then they could accept the traffic at 8,000.

I'm not from New York so I haven't seen much of his public appearances, but from what I've seen he has that Tom Cruise like natural charm that makes you want to like him just by seeing him exist. You can't teach this it either exists or doesn't.

I voted for Aftab, but he was reelected so while he was a first, this isn't his first term.

Yes lots of disaffected young people didn't vote and Trump is fulfilling all their dreams now! Victory.

I'm pretty certain at some time Stephen Miller has a crush on some Latina and was rejected, now he wants to erase them from the country

The bottom line is that we are not going anywhere once we get strapped in.

Restraint not restaurant
July 24, 2025 at 8:03 PM
The pilot seats have a five point restaurant system with a seat belt, shoulder harnesses, and a fifth connector between your legs that connects to the bottom of the seat belt to prevent submarining.
July 24, 2025 at 8:03 PM
If you submarine out of your belt, there are many bad things that can happen and none of them will help you get out of the plane quickly. The total amount of time you need to be upright and aware is about five minutes for each takeoff or landing. It's not that much and it could save your life.
July 24, 2025 at 2:34 PM
This is called submarining. I flew airplanes for almost fifty years the last 36 at a major airline. For takeoff and landing I sit straight up like Grandma is watching and tighten the belt until it's slightly uncomfortable. This ensures the belt will engage quickly and I will stay firmly in my seat.
July 24, 2025 at 2:34 PM
This is not exactly correct. The way a seat belt works is that it engaged your hip and pelvis, strong bones, and your body folds in half which keeps the belt in place. If you lean back, the belt will start slipping up your body and your legs will go smashing into the seat on front of you.
