I really wish that right after the Big Bang someone had thought to take a couple pictures or a short video. It would be really helpful to present day astrophysicists and, honestly, I’d be curious to see it. Oh well 🤷

I think Netanyahu launched this attack now because he knew Trump would make a less than favorable deal with Iran over its nuclear program just so he could get some headlines (you know, per usual). Bibi didn’t want that. It was cynicism vs incompetence #IsraelStrike

Well said. Worth a read

Much respect for this move

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

It’s time to stop calling the relationship between Trump and Musk a “bromance” or any such bullshit. They are not sitcom characters. What we have is an alliance between POTUS and a billionaire tech/media mogul to dismantle democracy. The ins and outs of their “friendship” are unimportant

Look, I’m sorry but I’m seeing a lot of posts like this and I think they’re BS.

I get it. People don’t want to condone violence and don’t want to be seen doing so. I’m not condoning violence either but to say you ‘don’t get’ why people are lionizing Luigi is insincere.
I get the well-deserved vitriol directed at cruel and greedy insurance companies for taking our money and DENYING benefits when we (or our loved ones) need them most. That shit needs to stop.

What I don't get is the hero worship of Luigi Mangione, the guy who allegedly murdered the UHC CEO.

A truly amazing reversal of position in real time.

‘Oceania is at war with Eastasia. Oceania has ALWAYS been at war with Eastasia’
Ingraham: The instagram posts from nut bag people ..people celebrating. This this is a sickness, honestly, it's so disappointing, but I guess we shouldn't be surprised.. up next, the other big news out of New York, Daniel Penny, a lot of people think he is a hero.

Just finished today’s (Friday) NYT Strands game and have to say kudos to the puzzle maker on it. I thought it was cleverly executed @nytimes.com

How pissed is JD Vance about this rumor of DeSantis being considered as a replacement for Hegseth at Defense? Brings Ron back into the fold and likely makes a 2028 GOP primary more competitive
