been plodding through Fire & Blood (George R.R Martin's history book about the first 300 years of the 7 Kingdoms) for a while now. Finally finished it. It means I'm now waiting for Martin to finish 2 sequels not just 1. Some good stuff in this though. I enjoy it.

I finished Fable for the End of the World by Ava Reid.
Came off like Hunger Game fan fiction at the start but really elevated itself as it went on - especially when we got into the whole debt bondage world part.
A little slow but the characters are very well written. Its worth a read.

I started Fable for the End of the World by Ava Reid today. I'm about two chapters in.
The whole debt and TV death game gave me Hunger Games vibes but a couple of chapters in I see it is much more than that. The characters are very well written. Proper draw you in. I'm enjoying it.

Finished Morning Star by Pierce Brown today. The third in the #RedRising series. It really just picked up where the others left off. A fantastical political space opera that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
I think the whole series is a must for all sci-fi fans.

Another cracking game of #bloodbowl 7s again tonight at 7th City in Sandiacre. Played with my Necromantic Horror team tonight but I was still crushed by those pesky lizards.
Nuffle was not on my side with a few crowd throw in's but i was fairly beaten.

Forgot to post that after having a break from the series to read Sunrise on the Reaping I jumped right back into #redrising with the third book Morning Star. Already about a quarter of the way through. Living up to expectations at moment.

Finished Sunrise On The Reaping today. Brutal but fantastic story. It might actually be my favourite of the #HungerGames novels.
I really have faith in Suzanne Collins to expand her series only with stories that are needed. Can't wait to see if we go back to Panem again.

2-1 defeat and finished with 3 players. Massively fun game though.

I offer the opinion that Ghostbusters 2 is in fact superior to the original. I throw this out to the world knowing there is a fair chance I will be beaten to death by a mob with sticks. Remember though if that happens death is but a door, time is just a window and I'll be back.

A buddy of mine who does not usually recommend me books has been raving to me about Red Rising by Pierce Brown. He says it is the best series of books he has ever read. So I thought i'd make it my next audible listen
Good so far. Feel like I should have heard of it before!

Ordered a Bloodspawn for my Khorne #bloodbowl team from a company called Tatstabletop. It arrived today and i'm massively impressed on how good it looks. Can't wait to get some paint on it

Finished Onyx Storm this morning and then immediately googled when the next book will be out (of course nobody knows yet). Really enjoyed the expansion of all the lore in this one. Feel the Empyrean is a very rounded world now.

I finally finished the Queen's Hope and therefore the Padme trilogy. Very good and comfy read. It makes up a little for the horrible treatment the character got in Revenge of the Sith.
The whole trilogy is worth a read. E.K. Johnson pulls you in effortlessly

You can't just write why you'd be good at a job on an application anymore. You have to answer some sort of complex behaviour based question where you have to say why you are good at your job but in code so you're not saying it directly.
