You are just a very stupid person. You have said nothing of substance. You hate Vlatko and cannot read. Bye, moron

What is a good coach but winning trophies? He literally won the Shield with the most points and wins ever. Is someone else doing better than that? No. Get over your dislike for his “vibe” or whatever
November 12, 2025 at 4:09 PM
You’re talking about many things that have nothing to do with Coach of the Year. Go have your conversations that you want to have with someone else. I didn’t want any of these convos
November 12, 2025 at 2:57 AM
I don’t think you have read what I’m saying at all. You’re just a Thorns fan who wants to talk about Gale, which isn’t what I was doing. Vlatko had a historic season. Gale did really well with injuries. Bev squeaked into playoffs. I think Vlatko >>> Gale >>> Bev here but Gale wasn’t nominated so
November 12, 2025 at 2:56 AM
But the Thorns won no where near as much as KC. KC won games without Chawinga, too. They only lost 3 games all season.
Gale has a better shout than Yanez on some metrics to me, but again, not the conversation.

Banda was. She had scored back-to-back hattricks at the Olympics already. Everyone who knows woso knew her name. Naming these other people doesn’t really mean anything for this discussion. I’m saying that Chawinga is a boon to Vlatko’s case for COTY, not something that should count against him.
November 12, 2025 at 2:54 AM
Deciding to stop playing a player for most of the minutes messes with momentum but also has the possibility of creating new injury risk when that player inevitably needs to play 90+ min a playoff match.
November 12, 2025 at 2:46 AM
Those were much more obvious and easy. Known names. Temwa was “Tabitha’s sister” to most non-Vlatko and non-Jonas entities.
Vlatko did adjust. Injuries are sometimes just bad luck and it feels good to blame someone but it’s not really anyone’s fault.
November 12, 2025 at 2:45 AM
She would obviously be putting up good numbers but you can’t know how good. Also, it’s not just a sidenote that Vlatko is who got her to the US etc. That’s part of the coaching
November 12, 2025 at 2:36 AM
This is by far the hardest league she’s ever played in. It’s not a straight comparison to talk about China vs here.
But also again she only plays here because Vlatko scouted and got her to come
November 12, 2025 at 2:28 AM
It doesn’t “work against” someone to do well-ish without them. You acting like 2022 was similar to this season shows how wildly unhinged your logic is. This was a historic season. You literally cannot deny it. There have been teams of quality in before and NEVER have they had a season like this
November 12, 2025 at 2:08 AM
You never watched her for anyone but Vlatko and she only plays in the NWSL because of Vlatko
November 12, 2025 at 2:07 AM
Debinha and Labonta were on a KC team that finished below Racing in 2023.
November 12, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Why do you think there is a 2 time golden boot winner on the team? Also do you think golden boots happen in a vacuum?
November 12, 2025 at 1:27 AM
Three years is long time. Weird attempt
November 12, 2025 at 1:22 AM
but they weren't actually all the much different than they have been in the past. They almost were 9th again. It's not like Vlatko won the Shield by a few points and Bev was solidly in playoffs. It's a team that steamrolled the competition and one that got minutely better.
November 12, 2025 at 12:57 AM
is historic. It's the best team in the history of the league. It's 95 point season in a 38 game season like the PL but in a salary capped league made to be competitive. On the other hand, Bev went from 9th to 7th (and in only the last game). I'm glad they finally made playoffs
November 12, 2025 at 12:56 AM
I don't understand why people are seriously acting like she's a candidate. I think it's fair to talk about why she is nominated (as with Gonzalez). But neither is seriously actually in competition with a historical coach. If Vlatko had won the league by 2 points or even 5 points, I get it. 21 points
November 12, 2025 at 12:55 AM
Vlatko confirmed, then. Why are you using AI just for a giggle? That's just as bad as people using seriously
November 12, 2025 at 12:54 AM
Why is NWSL bluesky full of people who do not understand numbers
November 12, 2025 at 12:53 AM
It's contrarian to act like Kansas City wasn't the best team the NWSL has ever seen, in large part because of coaching. It's also contrarian to try and act like 28 points isn't an absolutely massive gap between KC and Louisville (well, that one's mostly just idiotic).
November 12, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Thank you, Rohan, for mansplaining my gender to me. I'm a woman and always have been, asshole
November 12, 2025 at 12:45 AM
Who would have thought, Meg Linehan the sexist. I'm not a man.
November 12, 2025 at 12:45 AM
Not true. But also, why do you think Chawinga plays in KC? Do you think it has nothing to do with Vlatko?
November 12, 2025 at 12:42 AM
So you're a contrarian who wants to be smart, then. As I said.

Bev did not "damn near beat him". In what world is 28 points "damn near beating" someone? This is what I mean when I say you all aren't good at math.

This is a REGULAR SEASON AWARD. And Bev lost TOO.
