My parents went through WWI and WWII in England. There are many similarities to what Russia is attempting to perpetrate now in Europe. In 2020, I got my British passport just in case Trump won. If he aligns with Putin, I may have to use it.
A friend of mine who constantly gets kicked off of Facebook for trashing you know who shared this.

AOC is one BRAVE woman that we should all be as brave as:

"They know they have nothing and can’t come after us all.

Be brave. Keep speaking up.

We must use our freedom of speech now more than ever to defend from their threats against it.

Call their bluff." #alexandriaocasiocortez

In the past two weeks, there has been shock after shock on the news. It almost seems unfair that I can get away from it for an hour or so in the Albuquerque foothills on a very warm February morning.

I am so thankful that I got a British passport before the 2020 election and that I speak Spanish...

Life is short and those in power are taking too many chances with our futures. I might as well start sharing today because who knows what tomorrow will bring. I spent this morning running in the Sandia Mountain foothills in Albuquerque.

If I wait until there isn't some new and horrible headline in Trumpworld, then I will be waiting four years.
Short run this morning because I don't like running on cloudy days (which we have very few of in Albuquerque with 300+ days of sun)

On December 8th, 1950, I got birthright citizenship. It was okay with President Harry Truman.

After two months with no rain in Albuquerque, it's not surprising that tumbleweeds are piling up in the arroyos!

Instead of "The Year of Living Dangerously", this is going to be the year of getting my legs trail strong again. I'm pleased that I got over 6,400' and had 694' of elevation gain, but it was slow. That's what I have to work on!

I took a nondescript road route to one of my favorite views. The Sandia Mountains are our only view to the east. On the right is the Albuquerque LDS Temple, which 25 years ago, I took part in the construction of.

I am a streaker. This is Day 2 of my newest streak - sharing on Bluesky. My current longest streak is checking my heart rate variability every morning...

I did an out-and-back run from my house this morning, half of which was along one of the many arroyos that run east to west carrying rainwater from the Sandia Mountains to the Rio Grande River that runs through Albuquerque. Running east, there is always a beautiful view of the mountain. #running

I liked Twitter but wouldn't set foot there now. I really liked Threads and tolerated Mark Zuckerberg, but no more can I tolerate him. Now I am hoping to find a safe harbor here for many years to come. This @youversion.bsky.social Verse of the Day gives me even more reassurance today and every day.
