He’s a bad general manager. He’s a good owner if you look at the valuation of the team. I have come to the conclusion that he cares about the valuation more than the success of the team on the field. The Cowboys are mediocre and have been for 20 years. Cowboys need a new GM.

The situations where it’s the better play is why an absolute position on the matter is inferior. Agree about velocity/movement making it more of a corner case. Bottom 9, tie game, runner on 2nd, weak hitter up, you get the point.

No bunt dogma is misguided, as is all dogma. There are situations where a sacrifice bunt is a good play. Also, I assume that bunting for a base hit is an eleventh commandment prohibition, and again, if the defense is giving you the hit and you are a good hunter, then bunt.

I wish that people would start using the word war correctly. When two or more military forces are fighting each other that is war. Trump is wielding the word to incite fear in those who politically oppose him. Using it to oppose him legitimizes his thuggery rhetoric.
